How to: Demist your car.

To our dismay, winter is here, the long nights, the short days, the misty car windows.

Although we can’t do much about the long nights, or the short days, we do have a solution to the misty car windows.

Here’s how to: demist your car.

·       Turn on your car’s engine – most modern cars have climate control, heaters, and AC’s that they can use to help demystify the windows so to use them, turn your car’s engine on.

·       Turn the heating/AC of your car on – The warmth of the heater will decrease the mist on the windows and the AC will make sure the air is circulating and will help decrease the moisture on the windows more quickly.

·       If you do not have heating/AC open the windows and use the windscreen wiper and a microfibre cloth to wipe the mist off.

·       In case there’s ice on your windows make sure to use heat on your windows and get a portable de-mister if necessary.

·       Don’t put boiling hot water on your windows as it can crack the glass.

·       Don’t drive off without demystifying your windows as it is dangerous.

Once your windows are demystified, you may start your journey, safe travels!
